Per­sonal Expe­ri­ence
Grow­ing up I enjoyed the thrill of play­ing var­i­ous sports and even­tu­ally run­ning in col­lege for the var­sity cross-country team. Since then I have com­peted in count­less 5Ks and 10Ks, sprint and olympic dis­tance triathlons, and sum­mited Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker.

My most recent per­sonal accom­plish­ment is rais­ing my 2-year-old daugh­ter. I com­pleted 5 triathlons while preg­nant and fin­ished 5 more shortly after hav­ing her. It became my quest to see what the female body was capa­ble of pre– and post-partum. Some things came easy and some things were very dif­fi­cult. In my pur­suit I hope to under­stand women who have chil­dren and who want to be fit.

Another recent accom­plish­ment was los­ing weight. I have lost all 50 of the 50 pounds I put on while pregnant.

I enjoy work­ing with any­one who has a quest for fit­ness. Under­stand that it gives me great sat­is­fac­tion to help you reach your fit­ness goals.

14 years focus­ing on the most impor­tant aspects of fit­ness: fat loss, mus­cle devel­op­ment, pos­ture, core, flex­i­bil­ity, car­dio and sports con­di­tion­ing. I’ve pre­pared clients to sum­mit moun­tains, run, com­plete triathlons, and ski. What­ever your ath­letic endeav­ors are, I can help you train for them.

Race Direc­tor
I host a 3-race series at var­i­ous parks in Seat­tle. They alter­nate between Alki Park, Seward Park and Mertyl Edwards Park. We might also get the trail runs back at Lin­coln Park. These are 5K/10K runs that ben­e­fit our neigh­bor­hoods. 10% of our pro­ceeds goes to Seat­tle Parks and Recre­ation. We can eas­ily sup­port 300 rac­ers each day.

    I just com­pleted the series of 3 5ks on Alki. I was told i get a shirt for reg­is­ter­ing for the series, but yes­ter­day they were out of most sizes. Can I please get a shirt? i would be happy to pick it up locally.

  3. Annette: I am inter­ested in sign­ing up for the inter­val train­ing at W. Sea. Sta­dium begin­ning next week. I have to bring my kids who can occupy them­selves but my ques­tion is do we stay within the sta­dium or do we take off from there? Thanks!

  5. Will new bib nos. be given for each of the 3-race run to drums series 10/8,10/23, 11/20/2011?
    Also, for those that ordered t-shirts, when will the par­ti­pants be receiv­ing them?

  6. This will be my first time try­ing out the 3 walk/runs for 2012.
    Do I just show up on the day of the race to reg­is­ter? And how can I find out where to go in the park? I’m look­ing for­ward to get­ting in shape this year.…need to loose about 15 lbs.
