Focus is on beginning and intermediate level sprint and olympic distance triathlon training. Running, cycling, swimming, and combined brick clinics are included. We will encourage you to participate in local triathlon events near Seattle.

• Warm ups
• Speed work
• Hills
• Lunges/Squats/Plyometrics
• Push-ups/Planks
• Core
• Stretches
• Groups will form into level 1 and level 2, begin at a moderate intensity and increase as the season progresses.
Cycling workouts will begin with a focus on handling skills that will increase your confidence & safety on the bike.
• Basic group riding etiquette • How to change a flat tire
• Cornering and braking safely
• Climbing efficiently
• Descending hills
• Groups will form into level 1 and level 2. As the weeks progress, ride duration and distance will increase to have you in optimal cycling condition!
Swim / Bike / Run Transitions
• Mental and physical transition preparation
• Begins with a10 mile ride/10 minute run
• Progresses to a swim, bike, and run
Focus on being able to swim with a group in an open water setting with confidence
